Construction
CDOT is approaching the end of their multi-phased Broadway Viaduct Reconstruction Project. With the conclusion of the latest construction phase, the replacement viaduct structure is complete and all three I-25/Broadway interchange ramps have been reconstructed and are open to traffic. During 2007, CDOT will put the finishing touches on this project, including: painting the viaduct and associated retaining walls; landscaping and streetscaping along Broadway from Kentucky to Ohio, constructing a parking lot for the RTD Broadway Park-n-Ride; installing a fire hydrant in the parking lot and minor drainage improvements within the project limits. CDOT looks forward to final completion of this project by December 31, 2007.
No Construction Bulletins/Newsletters are currently available.
The I-25 Valley Highway - Logan to 6th Avenue EIS covers a large section of Interstate 25 and significant portions of intersecting systems including 6th Avenue, Kalamath, Santa Fe and Broadway. There are a number of factors such as funding, environmental clearances, and the completion of final design that will influence how and when reconstruction as determined and recorded in the final I-25 Valley Highway - Logan to 6th Avenue EIS for the various sections of the project corridor is implemented.
The final Preferred Alternative of roadway and interchange designs may feasibly go into construction in several large construction projects, a number of smaller construction projects, or a combination of both.
This website will follow the I-25 Valley Highway - Logan to 6th Avenue EIS process through completion and will remain online to follow the Preferred Alternative into construction!
