CDOT ANNOUNCES PUBLIC MEETINGS FOR
VALLEY HIGHWAY PROJECT – LOGAN TO 6th AVENUE

Denver – The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is looking for citizen input on the Valley Highway Project and will hold its first round of public scooping meetings on September 24, 25 and 26 (see locations and times below).

The Valley Highway Project encompasses I-25 and adjacent major arterial streets from Logan Street to 6th Avenue. It includes the construction of the new Broadway viaduct as well as the redesign of the interchanges at Broadway, Santa Fe and Alameda for greater movement and efficiency. CDOT needs to gather public input to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement, which will consider possible impacts to neighborhoods, businesses and surrounding projects.

The public is invited to any one of these initial public meetings about the Valley Highway Project. Each meeting begins with an Open House at 5:30 p.m., followed by a presentation at 6 p.m. and a facilitated discussion afterwards.
